Understanding Your Greenland Wax Finish

Unlike traditional waxed cotton, Greenland wax creates a distinctive finish that naturally develops creases, ripples and variations in appearance as the fabric moves and flexes.

This is completely normal and part of the character of Greenland wax. Following a fresh application, these characteristics may be more noticeable, particularly around areas of movement such as the arms, elbows and shoulders. With regular wear, the finish will gradually soften and settle.

One of the advantages of Greenland wax is its versatility. The fabric is designed to be washed and rewaxed repeatedly, allowing you to adjust the level of weather protection throughout the seasons.

For a lighter, more relaxed appearance during warmer months, the wax can be washed out and reapplied when needed.

Please note: Creasing, rippling and natural variations in the wax finish are expected characteristics of Greenland wax and do not indicate a fault with the rewaxing process.
