After rediscovering my old Drizabone after the coat rack fell to the floor, no doubt aided by the weight of many unworn jackets and coats my Drizabone lay there reminding of me of wet but happy days in the past. Most of the jackets and coats found there way into various clothing banks and charities but to throw my ripped Drizabone away was a step too far, we had far too much fun together in the past for me to discard it into the nearest wheelie bin. I had in the past sent the odd wax jacket back to the manufacturer for re-proofing but knew my Drizabone required some special attention, if indeed it would survive, Oilyjack was found online and from my first inquiry Sasha's reply gave me the confidence to send it off and wait for a pre mortem...it was doable! Communication between Oilyjack and the Kelly household were extremely good and the timeline given for return was spot on. When it did arrive I was astounded by the quality of workmanship as was Mrs.K, not only had the areas I requested to be repaired but Oilyjack went the extra mile to repair and patch the cuffs which whilst I hadn't noticed the wear on them Oilyjack had and proceeded to finish the job properly! The service was excellent. You can't tell that the pocket has been repaired, and the rewax attention to detail was superb. The let down was the Royal Mail parcel return, with the package being left on the front doorstep, without them ringing the doorbell or knocking. I was at home, so they can't claim that they did.

This was my second job completed by Oily Jack and I am so impressed. I had a Barbour Classic Beaufort that needed a repair to the pocket and was in desperate need of a re-wax as it hadn't been done in years, got in touch with the guys at Oily Jack and they ran me the whole process from pickup to payment, right back to my jacket being returned to me. The jacket itself looks brand new, completely gob smacked at how good it looks, it's completely revived it! The repair on the hand warmer pocket has been done so perfectly too, you can barely even see it. I really would recommend Oily Jack to anyone who has a wax jacket in a need of some TLC, they do a fantastic job every time.
